[I must say- I have never seen a job posting like this one, ever, and I am on the “www.” daily looking for God’s best position for me. What a beautiful leap of faith these folks are willing to take. ♥]
“Lord, I pray that You have just the right couple in mind and heart to pastor (in Spirit and in Truth) this hungry, thirsty, and lovely church- along with Your people in it. May You bless them indeed, comfort all those who mourn and are still grieving for the loss of their beloved pastor- Gary Berry. Let them rise up to proclaim the time (the kingdom of God is near) with a passion like You did Jesus. And also, with hearts that are bent toward healing the broken-hearted, freeing the captives, and delivering them to right where they’re suppose to be (with You). Let them see the beauty from the ashes, an oil of joy in the place of all that mourning, and new linen- a garment of praise over the darkness and spirit of heaviness that weighs down the soul. Please Lord, let us all be those mighty trees of righteousness that glorifies You as complete as we can pray it. And above all others, let this job be filled by Your pick for this position, having already in place, teachable, useable, and humble hearts (like the example David gave us)- ready to be enabled by You! “THANK YOU LORD” in advance!”
I can only imagine the scene in Heaven and the cry from the Altar~ “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” And I wonder…
“Did anybody get a call today?”
(Need help with how to answer this? — “Here I am [hand raised] send me, please!”)

Isaiah 6 (NASB)
In the year of King Uzziah’s death I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. 2 Seraphim stood above Him, each having six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one called out to another and said,
“Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts,
The whole earth is full of His glory.”
4 And the foundations of the thresholds trembled at the voice of him who called out, while the temple was filling with smoke. 5 Then I said,
