“Put your past behind you!”
I had just finished reading Psalm 90 in its entirety this morning, where I started at Bible Gateway’s Verse of the Day (Psalm 90:12) then back to the beginning to read the verse in full, and praying to God (from my current place of discouragement and a resigned desperation)–  “How, Lord?  What can I do right, now?”  When suddenly…
“Put your past behind you!” filled my head and blessed my heart.
The year ahead, with Jesus, is in front of me.  I have pleaded with Him to take my wrongs and make me right for over a decade.  And because of His good graces, the Lord will remember my transgressions of yesterday, 2016, and all before that– no more.  And if He can do all this for me, He most certainly can do for you, as well.
Consider this…
“It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all.
Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life.”

Now…
“So teach us to number our days, That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.
Do return, O Lord; how long will it be? And be sorry for Your servants.
O satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness, That we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.
Make us glad according to the days You have afflicted us, And the years we have seen evil.
Let Your work appear to Your servants And Your majesty to their children.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us; And confirm for us the work of our hands; Yes, confirm the work of our hands.”  (Psalm 90:12-17)
“Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.” (1 Timothy 1:17)
To a blessed 2017…  ?
The Good Wine… Now!
““Every man serves the good wine first, and when the people have drunk freely, then he serves the poorer wine; but you have kept the good wine until now.”
–John 2:10
(It truly is a miracle.  “Thank You Jesus!”)
